Tyler was born on January 16, 1987 in Portland, Oregon and could recognize every brand of car on the road by the age of two. His parents brought him to the golf course during summers and Mt Hood in the winter, which shaped his love of sport, activity and nature.

Tyler always seemed most comfortable with a golf club in his hands, picking up the sport at the age of three. Tyler was always dedicated, spending up to six hours each day practicing.

In school he gravitated to the world of marketing and branding, specifically the way brands can leverage culture to connect to a wider audience and engage deeper with their consumers. 

After college, Tyler advanced his knowledge of communication and leadership at the Dale Carnegie School, followed by 4 years of on-the-job education with one of the most cutting-edge brands in the world, Nike. Following his stint at Nike he furthered his education at General Assembly in Seattle, WA with an immersive boot camp in UX Design.

Tyler enjoys traveling, socializing, sports, and loves coming back home to Oregon to see his friends, enjoy the beaches, wine country, the Central Oregon high desert and the amazing golf courses that it has to offer. 

His fondest and earliest memory is playing golf with his father in late summer evenings on Oswego Lake. Weaving golf shots through the firs at dusk, from that moment forward, Tyler never wanted to leave the course.
